S.P.I.N.E is my cyberdeck build. I wanted a small portable computer designed to alleviate two problems. First, the storage and transfer of personal data. Photos, Game Files, Text Documents, and Sound Files. Secondly, I wanted a tool capable of accessing various other computer systems through networking. For example, shelling into my WIFI networks router using the on board ethernet port. S.P.I.N.E is an acronym based on these two principles. It stands for 'Secure Portable Information and Networking Environment'.
The core of this project is a Raspberry Pi 4b+ as the main single board computer. It uses a Pisugar battery and battery management system to provide hours of use. The screen is a Waveshare 5 inch touchscreen combined with a small keyboard that works over bluetooth.
