Capwell Watch

Skills Used: C++, C#, Arduino, Firmware Development, 3D Modeling, Hobbyist Electronics

This is a project I designed for real world application. I wanted a smart watch that could give me simple but meaningful information without having to compromise on battery life. I started simple, running everything using an ESP32-PICO-D4 microcontroller. Then, with the addition of a e-paper display, a 200mAh battery, a 3-axis accelerometer, and RTC module, I was able to create a mostly functioning watch. Although the watch is quite simple, its current battery life is 18 days, and I have plans to increase the size of the battery, allowing for a longer cycle. The firmware for the watch was created entirely using C++. In addition to the firmware, I modeled and produced the watch case using 3D modeling software that I later printed on my 3D printer

The watch is capable of many common smartwatch utilities including, Time, Day, Date, Year, Sunrise, Sunset, Humidity, Temperature, Step Counting, Time Updating Via WIFI and UTP.
